Feast of St Peter Ltd has been running Feast Day in its current form since 2009. Since this date, after all costs have been covered, over £132,000 has been donated to good causes in our village.
Feast Day in Chalfont St Peter dates back to 1229 when King Henry III granted to the Lord of the Manor, the right to hold an annual fair on the eve and day of the Feast of St Peter.
Come along to our very special annual Feast Day, with community stalls, a craft tent, a tea tent, a dog show, fairground rides, delicious food and drinks, singing and dancing, and a chance to catch up with all those neighbours you haven’t seen in a while.
As always, can we encourage you to be generous with your donations on the day. Donations into our collection buckets go directly to the Feast of St Peter to cover the cost of running the event, which I’m sure you’ll agree is fabulous. Everyone gives their time for free, from the committee members who work on the event all year, to those who hand-deliver the programmes, to the volunteer stewards on the day.
Any surplus funds after paying for Feast Day are available for distribution to your local charities and good causes upon application.
